Terms of Service

By accessing or using Pro Resume Builder (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@pro-resumebuilder.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share account credentials with other people. One person, one account.

When using the Service you agree NOT to:

• Submit content that's false, misleading, or that you don't have rights to use.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service except via published APIs.
• Bypass rate limits, abuse trial features, or attempt to circumvent paywalls.
• Use the Service to generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property.

You retain ownership of the resume content, work history, and other career information you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We may aggregate and anonymize usage data to improve the Service. We will never train AI models on your identifiable personal content without your explicit consent.

The Service uses third-party AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude) to generate resume suggestions, ATS scoring, and content rewrites. AI output is provided as-is and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content you wouldn't want to submit to an employer. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before using it externally.

Paid tiers are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months.

Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice. Continuing to use the paid Service after a price change means you accept the new price.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. On termination, your access to the Service stops and we delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will help you secure a job.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Madison County, Alabama.

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
